Use **bold**, *italics*, __underline__, ~~strikethrough~~ and ||spoiler||. Start a line with # for a header or -# for small text.

How to spoiler text and images
Wrap text in two vertical bars: ||spoiler||. People have to click it to see it. For images and files, tick Mark as spoiler before you send, or tap the eye icon on mobile.
How to make text bigger or smaller

Use one backtick for inline code, `text`, and three backticks on their own lines for a code block.
Masked links
Type [text](https://link) to show the text as a clickable link.
Timestamps
Discord can show a time in everyone's own time zone. Type <t:1767225600:R> using a Unix timestamp, and change the last letter for different styles: R for "in 2 hours", F for the full date and time, t for just the time. It's great for game night announcements.
How to make a poll
Click the + next to the message box and choose Create Poll. Add a question, your answers and how long it should run.
