Join servers whose custom emojis you like. Anyone can use a server's custom emojis inside that server. With Nitro, you can use them, animated emojis included, in any server and in DMs.
How custom emojis work
Every server can upload its own emojis and stickers. When you're in a server, you can use its custom emojis there for free. With Nitro, you can use custom emojis from every server you're in, anywhere on Discord, including animated ones.
How many emojis can a server have?
- No boosts: 50 emojis and 50 animated emojis, plus 5 stickers
- Level 1: 100 of each, plus 15 stickers
- Level 2: 150 of each, plus 30 stickers
- Level 3: 250 of each, plus 60 stickers
How to find servers with good emojis
- Search server lists like Disboard for "emoji", "emotes" or "stickers".
- Pick servers that match your style: cute, anime, memes or reaction faces.
- Prefer active servers. You'll actually use the emojis when there are people to react to.
- Favourite the emojis you like in the emoji picker so they're always at the top.
Emoji etiquette
Lots of people join servers just for emojis and never say a word. That's allowed, but servers are more fun when you stick around, and a server that stays active keeps adding new emojis.
