Search server lists like Disboard for "soundboard", then pick an active server with a full soundboard and voice chat people actually use. Anyone can play a server's sounds in its voice channels; with Nitro you can use them in other servers too.
Why people join servers for their soundboards
Every server can add its own custom sounds on top of Discord's defaults. Once you're in a server, you can play its sounds in its voice channels. With Nitro, you can also use those sounds in other servers, which is why soundboard servers are so popular.
How many sounds can a server have?
Servers start with 8 sound slots. Boosting unlocks more: 24 at Level 1, 36 at Level 2 and 48 at Level 3. A boosted server with a full soundboard has far more to play with than a new one.
How to find a server with a good soundboard
- Search server lists like Disboard, Discadia and top.gg for "soundboard" or "vc".
- Look for servers with an active voice chat. A great soundboard is pointless if nobody's in vc to hear it.
- Check the server's boost level. Level 2 and 3 servers have room for the most sounds.
- Join and open the soundboard in a voice channel to see what's there before you get attached.
Using a server's sounds in other servers
With Nitro, sounds from any server you're in show up in your soundboard everywhere, as long as the server you're talking in allows outside sounds. Without Nitro, you can still play a server's sounds in that server's voice channels.

Soundboard manners
The best soundboard servers keep it fun by reading the room: no spamming while someone's talking, and save the loud ones for the right moment.
Use your sounds in pannys vc
A soundboard is only fun with people to hear it. pannys has voice chat going most nights, so there's always a channel where your sounds land. Join, hop into vc and try them out.
