How Discord fonts work
Discord doesn't have a font picker. These styles are special Unicode characters that look like letters in a different font, so they copy and paste like normal text. Discord's own formatting also works on top of them, like **bold** or -# for small text. See the Discord text formatting guide.
A few things to know
- Some styles only cover letters and numbers. Other characters stay as they are.
- Screen readers can struggle with fancy characters, so keep important info in plain text.
- People can't easily search for a name written in a fancy font.

How do I change my font on Discord?

Can I use fancy fonts in my Discord username?
